Steve Meister is the only physician in the race for the House of Representatives in Maine's First Congressional District. A veteran of the First Gulf War, Steve served with the Marines and directed an emergency room at a field hospital close to the Kuwait border. A believer in citizen leadership, Steve worked with his local school and community leaders to create mentorship and service learning programs. He has brought millions of dollars in federal grant money to our state to improve access to high quality medical and mental health care.
Electing Steve Meister to the US House of Representatives will give Maine an experienced leader in Washington.
